Induction and Transition
We aim to make the transition at Boothroyd Primary Academy as smooth as possible for both children and parents/carers.
Things we can offer as part of the induction process include:
• School tour & Welcome Pack
• Open days for Nursery / Reception parents
• ‘Meet the team’ meetings with your child’s teacher and other staff within the year group
• Regular parent events to support you and your family meeting others in the school community
Our home school agreement shows how parents, and the school can work together.
Please find below a range of leaflets we have produced to support your family with making the transition to our school whether your child is attending a school setting for the first time or moved schools. If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to ask the school office.
